What does the future hold for Dillian Whyte?

He should fix a rematch with Joshua & punch him hard. Joshua really need such treatment because he is continuously searching easy tasks & after defeating them he claims himself a great fighter.

Future of Dillian whyte Looks bright.

He is a tough guy with, determined approach knows how defy the odds and come out on the top.

As my thought came right, Hughie Fury (20-0, 1- KOs) turned down which would had been very tough and interesting fight against Dillian Whyte (16-1, 13 KOs) for the vacant British heavyweight title.

I see him falling into a gatekeeper like role. He can't compete with the likes of Joshua, Parker, Wilder etc

In think the weekend showed he could definitely compete with Parker, who will have his hype train derailed altogether when he takes his shot at Joshua.

Parker can still improve likewise Whyte, but I agree that currently Whyte can compete with Parker.

I think both fighters will improve but can't see either winning a world title. Whyte will no doubt be the new Dereck Chisora.

There's clearly an attempt to build some hype for a Chisora - Whyte fight down the line. I expect Dillian to have one or two reasonably soft touches on Matchroom cards then for a Chisora - Whyte fight to be chief support on a Joshua card, maybe early next year.

France's Cyril Leonet (10-8-2, 3 KOs) will be Dillian Whyte's opponent on the Joshua vs Breazeale undercard. Leonet is the current French Heavyweight champion and also holds the IBF Mediterranean title. Whyte has signed a 5 fight deal with Matchroom.

Thanks - there seem to be parts of some of his previous fights floating around on YT. His record doesn't look particularly inspiring though!

Not the best of opponents but ok for a run-out after a defeat and shoulder surgery. Got to expect a KO win for Dillian.

wow that's harsh. I think Whyte is being massively underestimated at the moment and he's levels above Parker. Parker hype train could get derailed at a much lower level than AJ. He looked awful in his last fight.

now i think Parker would struggle, Takam is hardly anything special, not like people made him out to be, Whyte will be a gatekeper though imo, just brute force

Ask yourself this "Do you think Whyte came into the the biggest fight of his life in the best shape of his life?" I think not. Reminded me of Chisora - Who knows what he will turn up like....
