iamasadlittleboy
Brazilian Olympian Yamaguchi Falcao (0-0-0-1) was part of a highly controversial double DQ on his debut. Fighting against Argentina's unbeaten Fidel Martin Rios (10-0-2-1, 4), the Brazilian amateur star suffered from a refereeing anomaly. The first round was fought fine though in the second tempers flared and Rios was deducted a point for use of the head. Seconds later the bell went to finish the round. The men, either unaware or just just uncaring towards the bell fought on for another 3 or 4 seconds, for this they were both DQ'd. Neither fighter was happy at the referee and reports are that Rios spat at the referee (other reports suggest he spat at Falcao) whilst Falcao himself said the referee had denied the Brazilian public what they had come for.
