brooklynbrawler
10-0, Abraham landed 2 or 3 of the best punches he's managed in the fight in this round, but Froch still dominated. He's knocked the stamina right out of Abraham with the body shots, and he was wobbled a couple of times, including to a body shot, He's not got much left... brooklynbrawler
11-0! Froch has 3mins to secure what will be the performance of the tournament. This is Calzaghe vs Lacy~esque.
iamasadlittleboy
11-1 Abe took tht last round, wobbled Froch a few times, but fucking hell where was he for 11 rounds?
brooklynbrawler
Abraham went for it and nailed the final round, but this was a dominant performance from Froch. 119-109 Easy.
The_budweiser
frochs mrs showed more determination than AA. glad froch won aa was a joke. he hurt froch in the 12th and backed off when he was unsteady, coward
grapevine241
very good performance by froch, didnt think he had it in him tbh. i predicted abraham to get the KO after the 8th after losing most of the early rounds. very nice, froch. 119-109 froch

brooklynbrawler
120-108 x2 119-109 No complaints. Dominant performance and couldn't have gone any better for him. WTF though, he's rematching Abraham in the semi-finals ffs.....!!!

iamasadlittleboy
Rematch..heh...can't se AA fighting the same way...is that certain? or is Ward v AA? (the 4th place is technically identical)
brooklynbrawler
If ever there was a rematch that didn't need to happen, then this is it. It's a waste of time from my point of view. Ward or Johnson would make sense, but I would rather see Johnson vs Ward than Abraham vs Ward I guess...
brooklynbrawler
I think Froch deserves a bit of respect after this. He's beaten Pascal, Taylor, Dirrell, Abraham and lost a close decision, and pretty much finished Kessler in the process. Probably better than Calzaghe managed, on paper. Wheelchair
Abraham should leave the competition, and Carl gets a bye into the final.
brooklynbrawler
Abraham should leave the competition, and Carl gets a bye into the final. He'll want to make up for that, but given Ward just had a bye, I think it evens things up, but who does Froch fight in the meantime?
Wheelchair
Carl could make a voluntary defence or put his feet up for a while.
brooklynbrawler
Yeah, not sure who he takes on of any signifigance, in a defence, if Abraham did drop out though...

WelshDevilRob
Fair play. Carl Froch fought the perfect fight against Abraham and was the deserved winner.
grapevine241
i really have to give froch his props, he completely neutralized everything abraham tried to do. i dont think that it was a case of abraham not showing up. if he can establish that jab, i think hes got a very good chance of beating ward. for his next fight against johnson, i think froch will try to go to war though which could be a problem for him (though i still favor him right now). brooklynbrawler
It's funny how Carl is now finding all the opponents Calzaghe was being pushed to fight. I'm not saying he's anywhere near as good a boxer, but I think his paper record already pushes Calzaghe's, and a victory over Johnson would only solidify that. I agree Calzaghe sat on his title for 10 pointless years, Kessler was his defining fight and wasnt exactly a shutout.
