brooklynbrawler
Egobi seems in total control for 2mins, and then throws the round away in the last minute. He managed a good uppercut, and I "just" gave Egobi the final round, but there was nothing between them. Egobi 2 to 1, but could go either way. Egobi looked nicer on the eye, but McBride had a tighter defence and better accuracy. If he didn't come in off the back of a dozen roast dinners, he might have breezed it... WelshDevilRob
Missed the 1st. Gave the 2nd to McBride, while the 3rd just edged it to Egobi.
brooklynbrawler
McBride taking it on a split decision. 29-28, 29-28, 28-29. Fair enough, but you have to feel for Egobi.
Wheelchair
So McBride scrapes through. Good, hopefully he'll get KO'd in the next fight! mlol/
brooklynbrawler
So McBride scrapes through. Good, hopefully he'll get KO'd in the next fight! mlol/ I thought that Skelton was tailor-made for him before the comp kicked off, because his punch resistance has totally gone, but I don't know if McBride is fit for another 3 rounds...! mlol/
Wheelchair
Let's hope the next fight is a little better. Disappointing so far with all the hugging.
brooklynbrawler
All of the decent British heavyweights were always going to steer clear of Prizefighter, so we might be lucky to see a proper slugfest at this rate, especially with those pair through to the semi so far... brooklynbrawler
Timlin is not accurate and leaves himself wide open, while McPhilbin is a bit wild, so we could be seeing the first KO of the night. An easy round for McPhilbin anyway, had Timlin stunned at least twice. Don't think this one is going the distance if it stays along these lines... Wheelchair
Great positive start from the novice, he looks hungry does McPhilbin.
brooklynbrawler
Yeah, Timlin stopped a little over 30 seconds in to round 2, after being dropped once and leaving himself wide open to more afterwards. Looked like this was going to happen after the first...
WelshDevilRob
Ist round to Shane McPhilbin, Timlins jaw not very good. Stopped in the 2nd. Timlin on deck and then stopped on his feet.
Wheelchair
Timlin shouldn't be in the game really. No defence and no chin, he's going nowhere.
brooklynbrawler
Most exciting fight of the night so far, if a little one-sided!
WelshDevilRob
Yeah best fight so far. One thing is the refs are not seperating the fighters quick enough. Allowing too much holding.
brooklynbrawler
I was half tempted to throw some dough on Hughes at these odds. Another couple of faster guys, both with decent enough power. Should be a nice fight...
brooklynbrawler
Sprott started well, but he's leaving himself open and throwing stuipidly wide punches that are nowhere near the mark. He came back at the end, with a nice land, and I gave him the round, but I feel the tides may be turning in Hughes' favour.
Wheelchair
Sprott's handspeed should give him the edge. He's the most impressive fighter so far....
WelshDevilRob
Scored the 1st for Sprott. Think he'll win this.
brooklynbrawler
Total turnaround again in round 2. Sprott opened up a bad cut on Hughes' right eye, with a foul, and he has been hitting him at will from the right since then. Hughes has gone into his shell, and will be lucky to progress even if he does pull off a surprise KO win. Sprott 2-
Wheelchair
Hughes is certainly a brave guy, but he's getting beaten.
WelshDevilRob
Round 2 and scored it for Sprott. Butler cut by headclash. Big shots landed by Sprott.
brooklynbrawler
I think Hughes may have nicked the last round, but Sprott won comfortably 29-28. Hughes was too inactive. Just stood back and waited for Sprott to unload on him. Made it easy in the end for Sprott.
Wheelchair
Sprott looks full of beans out there.
brooklynbrawler
30-27 x3 UD for Sprott. Easy, comfortable victory for him, and wouldn't disagree with it...
