After watching one of my favourite fighters (lucian bute) lose last night I felt a similar experience to when I had my first fight. I fought in a tournament last October. I had a by to the semi final to face a guy named Alex Carioti. He had won his fight the night before and was the better man when he fought me. He won the entire tournament the next day. I was told by his trainer after he won that it was his 6th fight and that I shouldnt take the loss to heart. I was beat that night and to say the least havent been the same since. I havent been back to my gym in close to 7 months and im not sure when ill return. I ve recently started training again on my own and im trying my best to get back into shape. I had this video on private for quite some time now and had a few people watch but most of the views are from myself trying to figure out what went wrong. I can admit I was hurt and that I wasnt good enough to beat Alex. After the first eight count I panicked and the rest of the fight was a wrap. I couldnt recover. Before I stopped boxing I had been training for 2 years. Dedicated everything I had to the sport, even over training which left me with an overuse injury on my right knee which has yet to recover. Bottom line , losing sucks and I feel for Lucian right now. He trained hard for this fight and came up short. He was stopped which I can relate to and is one of the worst feelings a fighter can have. I made alot of mistakes in the fight and i respect everyone's opinion ...
